Super food as usual and great service. Interesting to see the developing Asian influence in the menu, decor and background music. The staff need to be commended on their efforts to try something different, while still retaining the traditional elements of the original restaurant. Well worth visiting.
Absolutely delicious food, fabulous service. It was quiet in there so this affected the atmosphere. It was also very clean.
We just had an excellent dining experience at the Bengal Lancer! The waitress and manager were attentive, warm and welcoming. Food was amazing. With a good choice of food and drink, I'd highly recommend this lovely restaurant if you are looking for dinner out in Hampshire.
Outstanding service and welcome. Lovely clean and quiet restaurant. Food and as delicious, I’ll be back Sathi!
Just had an absolutely amazing meal here, lovely freshly cooked food a lovely atmosphere and such friendly staff would definitely recommend especially the lamb shaslik yum
Booked here as it was recommended from years ago. It’s a new owner who is a very polite young man and more than happy to engage with you. They cook everything fresh so the wait times are a little longer but I have to say, wow. The food was absolutely gorgeous, the tandoori was out of this world. After speaking with the owner about his plans he invited us back as a family to try a few new things he is considering for the menu and we did just that. What a lovely evening with absolutely gorgeous food. A 7 & 9 year old loved every bit of it too and even surprised them with ice cream. Amazing service, amazing food and overall a lovely experience. I wish the owner every success and we’ll see you again soon!
So damn tasty. Great menu variety, and stunningly good taste. Atmosphere was quiet, and the lighting a bit harsh, but the food was awesome. Not cheap but worth it.
Really good food and no food colourings in sight. Seems to use traditional recipes and fresh ingredients. First time eating here and would go back.
